About MFTAPE Z CLip

The MFTAPE is a Z Clip solution for installing glass, ACM, or phenolic panels where the panel does not allow for screw attachment. The adhesive‑backed MFTAPE is applied to the back of the panel and is designed to be used in combination with the MF375 rail mounted on the wall for a complete installation.

The MFTAPE is suitable for interior installations with only 12.7 mm clearance above the panel. It is made of aluminium and features a clip length of 50.8 mm and a clip height of 85.73 mm. The rails are available in lengths of 1500 mm or 3100 mm, with or without 3M adhesive tape. This Z Clip provides 9.525 mm lift‑off and 7.44 mm projection.

Z Clip Installation Options

Our MFTAPE clip is designed to be used with our MF375 profile as a rail. Our standard MFTAPE clip size is 50,8 mm Wide, and that works for most applications. Applications vary in weight and materials, so we can also offer the MFTAPE clip in a variety of lengths to suit your needs. Our MFTAPE profile must be used with our MF375 rail for a complete installation solution. The MF375 is available separately in a variety of lengths. Mating options include clip-to-clip, clip-to-rail, or rail-to-rail. For this reason, Z Clips are pre-packed but rails are sold separately and individually and NOT as sets.
